Emu Bottom Homestead

Homestead Way, Sunbury VIC, Australia
Western Melbourne, Macedon Ranges.
About This Supplier

The Epicurean Emu Bottom is a historical property located at the foothills of the Macedon Ranges, spanning over 62 acres of farmlands and native Australian greenery. This heritage homestead, established in 1836, is the oldest in Victoria and offers a rustic and charming setting for country weddings. Despite being just outside Melbourne, it provides a serene and relaxed environment for couples to celebrate their special day.

Managed by The Epicurean Group, the property is renowned for its Italian-inspired cuisine that showcases fresh, seasonal, and regional produce. Their sophisticated yet laid-back menus feature colourful and generous share platters that encourage guests to mingle and savour the food.

The venue boasts two wedding locations. The Homestead, with its expansive lawns and well-manicured gardens, is perfect for alfresco and marquee-style weddings. Meanwhile, The Woolshed, built in 1854 from rough-hewn red gum slabs, features exposed timber beams and a large stone fireplace that provides a cozy atmosphere during cooler months.
